GA Commendation

At 5pm EST on Thursday, July 5, 2012, the 220th General Assembly commended Glory to God for use in congregations.  A voice vote was taken with no dissenting votes.  Thanks be to God for the many gifts the Presbyterian Committee on Congregational Song has shared with the church.  We eagerly anticipate the hymnal's publication in September 2013.  To God alone be glory: soli deo gloria.

Presbyterian Hymnal Project first meeting

    The Presbyterian Hymnal Committee held its first meeting at the Presbyterian Center in Louisville September 22 and 23, 2008. This meeting was an opportunity for the newly appointed committee to meet each other and begin the process of developing a plan for working together over the next few years. One of the highlights of the meeting was a service of commissioning that took place in the Presbyterian Center Chapel.
